Spring Board Creating Momentum for Independence

Housing and Assistance for Foster Youth in Sarasota

Welcome to Springboard, an innovative program designed to meet the many needs of young adults ages 18-22 who have aged out of foster care or those who are otherwise at risk of becoming homeless.

We provide high-quality, conveniently located, independent living arrangements in Sarasota. Additionally, we provide real-world life skills training, tutoring, mentoring and therapeutic services that will provide self-sufficiency for the young adults. Each young adult will reside in a one bedroom unit of a duplex. The units are furnished and are centrally located with access to the bus route, shopping and dining.

These youth are at a critical point in their transition into full independence, and we will provide them with the support and tools that they will need to do this successfully.
“We hope to impact young adults in a way that will provide them a Springboard to full independence.”
-Executive Director, Rich Stroud
